Bob Basinger - Just wanted to thank you for a great kayaking trip. Zach was a terrific instructor/guide, very personable and knowledgeable. We've been kayaking a couple times before, but never got the kind of detailed instruction Zach gave us. Understanding proper technique made the experience much more enjoyable that it might have been. The lunch spread was much more than expected and provided a nice intermission between stretches of paddling. And Zach's knowledge of a diverse array of local oceanographic, ecological and historical facts was impressive.

I worked with Santa Barbara Adventure Company on two programs we did in Santa Barbara two and three years ago and they were excellent. As a matter of fact, they were so good that we considering taking them with us to Laguna Beach the following year. Our group has high expectations and can be very demanding and everyone loved the activities with did with SBAC. I would highly recommend them.

We were in Santa Barbara last Labor Day and we booked a surfing 1/2 day lesson through your company. My daughter and her 2 friends LOVED Zach and his friend Robyn was also there. They had so much fun. We filmed hours of video and probably 100 digital photos. It was their best memory of the trip. I wanted to say Thanks. We are also coming back this Labor Day and I know it is too soon for you all to commit to a surfing lesson over the weekend but we'd love to have Zach again if possible. Thank you.

Meenal and Kris Kelkar We just wanted to give you some feedback on our kayaking experience. We went out with Patrick on August 15 in and near the harbor. He was an EXCELLENT guide, very personable and knowledgeable. I mentioned it to him, but wanted to make sure that you knew -- the reason I picked your tour was the fact that lunch was included (less hassle for me). I thought it would just be some basic sandwiches, but when Patrick started to assemble the little table, we knew that it would exceed our expectations (and it did). I ended up having some circulation problems in my fingers, but Patrick made some suggestions, which helped, and kept coming over to make sure that I was getting better, not worse.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we have already been talking about when to book another trip with your company.

I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous time we all had kayaking this past May. All the girls had so much fun. I can't imagine a better way to end the school year. Organizing that trip was the most memorable thing I did freshman year (calculus, hmm, fuzzy blur). And I was the envy of all my friends when they heard I kayaked with dolphins. I wanted to let you know what a great time we had on our kayaking trip over Memorial Day. As a result of a great time (great company, great instruction, great weather and great conditions) our group (Fran, Heather, Dave and myself) is going to take it the next step - we are taking a roll and safety course up here so we can go out in the closed kayaks.
Anyway, I expected to enjoy sea kayaking, but I didn't expect to have such a positive first experience. You have a great group of guides, with great attitudes, who have a sense of how to make it enjoyable to all.  I loved the challenges and the games we played in the water. Maybe we will all be able to have a repeat excursion with you next Memorial Day. I think we had a group that really got along well.
Anyway, I hope the weather continues to be excellent down there. I don't know if you special ordered the weather for us that weekend or not, but the ocean seemed especially calm to me.  What a great day that was!
