Santa Barbara Adventure Company's High Ropes Course is perfect for corporate, youth and family groups whose goals are to have fun while challenging themselves by stepping out of their everyday environment. This teambuilding option is appropriate for just about all ages and skill levels.

The High Ropes Course consists of a series of low risk group initiatives focusing on the development of communication methods and problem solving techniques congruent with skills required in the real world and work environments. Through active experimentation, reflection, and application of skills, participants explore the complex and transformative meanings of trust, cooperation, and thinking outside the box, all of which culminate as a unique team building experience. Throughout this challenge-by choice program, SBACo's skilled facilitators guide discussions that directly address parallels to the workplace.

Cost: $179.00 per person with a 6 person minimum (discounts are available for larger groups). Includes any necessary gear including helmets and harnesses, thorough instruction and debriefing by knowledgeable facilitators, series of high ropes challenges, our delicious deli spread lunch and cold beverages.

Our Ropes Course Leaders
Santa Barbara Adventure Company's ropes course leaders complete an extensive training program and participate in numerous refresher and continuing education sessions each year. Each leader receives regular and systematic feedback about the quality of their belay lesson and supervision of participant belayers on the ropes course. All leaders responsible for supervising one of the high ropes course platforms must complete the high element rescue training. Ropes course safety begins with a comprehensive risk management plan and continues through design, construction, inspection, maintenance, training, and program management. With the safety systems in place, participants can enjoy fully the experiences SBACO's ropes courses have to offer.
