Red Bull partners with SBACo for "Bikeapalooza"--an advanced mountain bike clinic

The Santa Barbara Adventure Company and Red Bull recently spent a day at El Capitan Canyon teaching young, energetic Red Bull reps the skills required to mountain bike. Along with some fantastic SBACo guides, three professional mountain bikers led the group in the day's events.

Led by Red Bull athlete, Shaums March, the course focused on bunny hops, obstacles, speed cornering and power braking. Never fear though, the Red Bull reps didn't take themselves too seriously....throughout the clinic participants were entertained by tunes coming from a large Red Bull, six-wheel, unimog truck.

Amped up by their new skills, music--and probably a few cans of Red Bull--the eager students put their bikes to the test and rode the local trails. One participant admitted that not only was this her first time on a mountain bike, it was her first time on a bike period!

Even the SBACo guides, who are better riders than the average joe, said they learned a few new tricks from the Red Bull athletes.

The Santa Barbara Adventure Company was happy to support Red Bull during this biking adventure. We hope to partner with them in the future.
