SBACo Partners with the
Ty Warner Sea Center
On April 14th, 2007, the Santa Barbara Adventure Company
will be pairing up with the Ty Warner Sea Center to offer
a new adventure.
A day of paddling along the Santa Barbara waterfront becomes
even more exciting when combined with tide pooling, marine
ecology and natural history. Participants will start out
at the Ty Warner Sea Center with some hands-on experience
at the touch tanks. Then, after an extensive kayak lesson,
participants will hit the water in kayaks along with a Ty
Sea Center Naturalist to learn all about marine ecology
and the natural history of the area. The trip is being planned
at low tide so that participants can get out of their boats
for some tide pooling.
