Last month Santa Barbara Adventure Company worked with the Montessori School Center of Santa Barbara to host a family friendly kayaking benefit. Kids came out kayaking with family members for a relaxing and fun tour of the Santa Barbara Harbor. We had a blast! There were kids from ages 4 to 15 on the trip, with aunties, moms and dads to add to the mix. Kayaking guides Adam and Bryn were ready for the mixed group with lots of fun games, great kid friendly food and real live dolphins, sea lions and even a whale! Yes – you heard me right, we even spotted a beautiful grey whale right off the wharf.
Over the years Santa Barbara Adventure has helped with similar fundraising efforts for The Friendship Paddle, The Naples Coalition, Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center and many others. We are always happy to inspire others to explore nature and help these wonderful organizations that give so much to our community.
