Located deep within the heart of Santa Rita Hills, Sanford wines owe their magic to the rare East-West mountain off the Pacific Ocean. The ebb and flow between the mountains and sea creates the ideal climate for our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and not to mention, beautiful vistas.
Now is your chance to take in the beauty of where Sanford wines are born, on our Wine Country Trek & Taste. This professionally-guided hike
will lead you through our private estate and vineyards, the AVA’s oldest vineyard, Sanford & Benedict, to experience the magical terroir that makes Sanford Wines so incredible. Take in the Santa Rita Hills from the heights of our vineyards, enjoy a mountain-top private tasting and an alfresco lunch paired with delicious Sanford wines.
This unique hiking experience will take place on Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at 10 a.m. during Visit the Santa Ynez Valley’s Trails Week, from June 2nd to June 9th.
