Santa Barbara Surf Film Festival

For decades, Santa Barbara has been a hub for surf innovators, shaping both board design and surfing styles. It boasts of unique surf culture, blending tradition and innovation, influencing the global surf scene for over half a century. The Santa Barbara Surf Film Festival held over two days at the historic Lobero Theatre, celebrates this rich history and the diverse contributions of filmmakers, artists, shapers, and surfers.
Juneteenth Block Party

WHERE: Funk Zone, 100 Gray Ave, Santa Barbara, CA
Juneteenth Santa Barbara is a local celebration of the national recognition of Black Independence Day. It is a collaborative effort to showcase Black culture, talent, and joy in Santa Barbara County. This event, now in its sixth year, centers around a free community block party that will be held in historically Black Santa Barbara, now known as the Funk Zone.

Summer Solstice Celebration: 50th Anniversary

The Summer Solstice Parade and Festival is one of the largest art events in Santa Barbara County. Spectators can expect to see vibrant displays of artwork, costumes, performances, and more.
Lucidity Festival: Auroras’ Light

Sea Cave Kayak at Channel Islands National Park

The State Street Promenade Market is a weekly outdoor market and event in collaboration with the City of Santa Barbara. Every Thursday local businesses, artisans, non-profits, restaurants, and performers join in creating a local’s night for the community to enjoy right on State Street! A variety of different vendors and community partners are invited to help make this a special place.
